Introducing a stunning vacation home situated on 6.5 acres of nature's sanctuary, along the banks of the Mopan River. This property offers resort amenities while providing the privacy of a residential home.
The home features 2 private bedrooms, king size sleeper sofa in the living room, 3 bathrooms, and very comfortably accommodates 6 people. All of the beds feature memory foam mattresses with an additional memory foam topper so each guest can choose between a softer, or firmer mattress experience. Both bedrooms offer guests the flexibility to choose bed configurations of either two twin extra long (XL), or combined for a single king size bed. Home amenities include air conditioning, high speed Wi-Fi Internet, a BBQ grill, a full kitchen, indoor or outdoor dining for 6 people, smart TV's with Netflix, Disney+, and many other Roko TV channel offerings. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Mopan River and Paslow Falls from their private deck and observe abundant wildlife from iguanas to howler monkeys. The house features hardwood floors and ceilings, and wood furnishings made from natively grown and renewable tropical hardwoods. The house is adorned with locally sourced art work, and wood carvings which add to the unique charm of this property. Guests can also enjoy a 65-foot water slide, and plunge into your own private swimming pool.
The property is eco-friendly with over 1,200 trees planted, and guests have the ability to pick their own seasonal fruits on site. The home is powered by solar energy, providing the bulk of our electricity, as well as a solar hot water heater with on-demand electric backup. We even produce our own bio-gas from food waste and a composting toilet, making this property beyond environmentally conscious. The house also features a state-of-the-art water filtration system for a limitless supply of clean drinkable water.
The property is located in the Mopan River valley just 3 miles outside the town of Bullet Tree Falls, and only 15 minutes from the twin towns of San Ignocio / Santa Elena. Just minutes away from the ancient Mayan temples of Xunantunich, El Pilar, and Cahal Pech. This river valley is also home to many native species of animal and plant life - a bird enthusiasts paradise!
* Please note: The second bedroom is located downstairs, and is its own private suite with separate outside entrance. Families with small children may prefer to have the kids sleep on the king sofa sleeper upstairs so they can be closer to their parents.

Summary: We had a great stay at Jay's property. The house and pool are amazing and he has really paid attention to al the details - there was sunscreen and aloe provided, lots of pool towels, first aid kits, pool toys and even a cooler to use. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend.

Summary: We had a wonderful visit. The property is remote, quiet and peaceful but still in close proximity to town. The kids loved cooling off in the salt water pool with the fun water slide feature. The home was modern, clean very spacious.

Summary: The road was a bit bumpy to get to but that's irrelevant once you get to the property. Before we even checked in, the owner sent a message on how to get there and we ended up talking about a couple things. Pulling up to the house, you're surrounded by trees and openness at the same time. Hundreds, if not thousands of butterflies are all around the bushes and lime trees. My wife made friends with a couple iguanas, too. Their names are Gary and Cory. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and the owner put us in contact with a local chef (her name is Amini) who came out and taught our son to cook an authentic Belizean meal. We all ate and talked for a couple hours and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The couch pulled out to a king size bed that was extremely comfortable. Not one of those cheap pull out sofas. The mornings, we had coffee and listened to (faint) howler calls and my son loved the pool! We spent a lot of time on the deck, watching birds and just enjoying the sounds.

Summary: I don’t know if I have enough words to describe how great this property is and how amazing Jay was to us. This property has all the amenities of home along with privacy as well and fun. Very private and very clean. Jay himself was a godsend. Thanks to his constant communication, not only did he help us in securing a vehicle-which can be hard to do-he was also available for every question we could have about Belize in general. I would not think twice about booking with him again. Definitely a slice a paradise.
